So, this week Katharine got her wisdom teeth out and has not been feeling well trying to recover. I wanted to bake something that she could actually eat (well more or less mush) and she mentioned that I hadn’t made cupcakes in a long time (way too long). So with all of that in mind, I decided to make a recipe for her of something extra special from one of her favorite things, Harry Potter. I had made Butterbeer cupcakes a few years ago, after my first visit to Harry Potter World in Orlando, but way before this blog was even a thought. It was an easy decision to make these scrumptious little guys again for the blog this week. I used the recipe on MuggleNet.com from Madam Rosmerta’s recipes and it was a hit (again!). I highly recommend Harry Potter fans try this recipe out! (And, just so you know, if you put a little of the extra ganache into some of the extra cream soda it basically tastes just like Butterbeer!!) Enjoy!
